Pinecrest, FL Renews Red-light Enforcement Program, Reaffirming Commitment to Traffic Safety

The Village of Pinecrest, FL renewed its red-light photo enforcement program, reaffirming its dedication to reducing red-light running, one of the most dangerous and deadly negative driving behaviors.
Pinecrest launched its program in May 2015 with four red-light systems along U.S. Highway 1, adding two more in 2017. According to village officials, the percentage of red-light running incidents has steadily decreased despite the increase in traffic along the busy highway.
