Parma, Ohio Named One of the Safest Cities in America

The city of Parma, Ohio has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Safest Cities in America by the National Council for Home Safety and Security.
Parma was named No. 64, and is the only city from Ohio to make the list. The list was compiled from FBI Uniform Crime Report statistics, along with internal research.
On top of its low crime rate, the Cleveland suburb has taken care to ensure the safety of students as they come and go from school. Since 2009, the city has utilized Redflex speed cameras and mobile speed vans to deter dangerous driving behavior in school zones.
